  1. Hi there, it’s so nice to meet you! I heard about your blog while listening to Doug Welsh’s Garden Success! radio show last week, and headed over here to see what and who he was talking about… needless to say, you’ve got a great blog started here, and I will be back to see what’s growing on in your world. Enjoy your bluebonnets… they’ve just started to show themselves here in B/CS.

    • Thank you for taking time to leave a comment, I love hearing from folks. If you ever have a question or an idea for a post don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail. Thanks again for reading!

  2. Thanks for listing the Leander Garden Club of which I am a member and the NPSOT in Georgetown, Texas. I LOVE gardening organicly and water wise. My front yard xeriscape here in Leander was in the Austin American Statesman not long ago.

    • You are welcome. I love NPSOT. When I lived in Houston I used to attend all of their meetings. I applaud your efforts with the xeriscape garden. I am not there yet but get closer each year. I truly believe we are all going to have to chip in and conserve or we are going to run out of the water we have left! Thanks for reading!

  3. How do we list our Highland Lakes Master Gardener’s Monthly Meeting on this post?

And how can I get in touch with Patty Leander to see if she is available to present a program to us in October (3rd Tuesday) in Burnet, TX? Andy Doerfler adoerflerdds@gmail.com
281.731.1568 (yes, I am originally from Harris County (Spring) also!)

    • Just tell us the times and location and I will be happy to add it. I get my list from Texas Gardener Magazine. I would be sure and send a request to them as well at info@texasgardener.com. I am sending your info on to Patty. I am sure she will contact you soon.

      • Thank you Jay for your quick response!
